Natural resource development, energy, and environmental conservancy
Professor Martin de Wit is an Africa-based economist at the university of Stellenbosch with a research and consultancy track record in the field of natural resources, development, energy and the natural environment. His previous work at the South African Reserve Bank further enabled his research on measurement and management of public and private socio-ecological risks, and cost and benefit analysis in public and private sectors. Professor Martin de Wit is an expert on global outreach with special relevance to African development, natural resource and environmental policy development, valuation of the environment, green economy, green infrastructure, economic development, system dynamics modeling, environmental, and energy policy.
