James Koziarz

Dr. James Koziarz is a Medical Biotechnologist with a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. At Abbott Laboratories where he held the position of Vice President for Diagnostic Products Research and Development, he led the effort in producing diagnostic instruments for blood transfusion screening for Hepatitis, HIV, and other Retrovirus agents. He has over twenty-five years experience in this area of expertise, and has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of NephRx Corporation, and the President of Rubicon Genomics, a leading medical diagnostic technology firm. Dr. Koziarz now serves as Chairman of the Board of Rubicon Genomics, and an expert advisor to several diagnostic and development companies. Prior to entering the private sector, he served on the faculty of Biochemistry at the University of Chicago.
