Green Climate Fund

Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of The Green Climate Fund. Located in Songdo, S. Korea, the Fund is a UNFCCC-sponsored initiative to provide support to developing countries to limit or reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and to adapt to the impacts of climate change. The Fund will channel new financial resources to developing countries and catalyze climate finance, both public and private, at international and national levels.
The Fund is currently being capitalized and will commence funding in mid-2015. Total financial resources available in the Fund are expected to be in the high single or low double digit billions of US dollars.
